I absolutely loved this video. That’s exactly how I pick my next reads!!! I either listen to the Audible sample or read the first chapter. I usually know after a few pages if I’ve invested or not. Have you ever tried the challenge of choosing your next read from reading just the first line of a selection of books or the challenge where someone reads to you the first lines of books you have previously read and you have to guess which books they came from? They are always fun to watch too. X

Rock Paper Scissors is the only one of these books I've read and I really enjoyed it, but I think it was mostly because the male voice on the audiobook is narrated by Richard Armitage 😏😅✂️
