an update: i actually finished heartless and loved it!! also i now realize that heartless isn't exactly an alice in wonderland retelling... but i wont tell you what it is in case you want to pick it up as well :)

This helped me decide to pick up Kingdom of the Wicked because a friend got it for me recently. And oh my gosh I flew through the first one and am working my way through the second one! This was such a cool video concept, especially since people can share their thoughts on the books you might potentially read 👀

I love these types of videos, it’s such a fun idea! Heartless and Kingdom of the Wicked are great reads, some of my favorite fantasy romance books. I recently read Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer and loved it, it’s also fantasy romance and loosely inspired by Robin Hood. The characters in it are some of my new favorites!

I'm interested to know your thoughts when you finish these! I didn't like Sorcery of Thorns because i liked the premise and the beginning but then the story just deviates from that after like 20% of the way through and I hate when books reel you in with something you like but then they just take it away.. you might like it though because it reminded me of the infernal devices books!

why is no one talking about Caraval, like that series is the most whimsical and magical of all. Absolutely amazing and a definite must read
