Fresh Strawberry Pound Cake

FOR THE GLAZE
1/4 stick melted unsalted butter
1/4 cup fresh Strawberries chopped
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

FOR THE CAKE
1 box Duncan Hines strawberry cake mix
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 3oz. Box strawberry Jell-O dry mix
3/4 cup Vegetable oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup fresh Strawberries chopped

For the glaze: Combine ingredients listed for the glaze.

For the cake: Preheat oven to 325°. Lightly oil and flour a bundt pan, you can use non-stickcooking spray as well. Mix ingredients in a mix using a hand mixer for 3 minutes until the batter is smooth. Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1hour and 5 minutes. Turn out of pan and cool for another 10 minutes before adding the glaze. Glaze the cake while warn.

Ray! It's strawberry season up here in northern Michigan! I just went to a local farm this morning and picked my own strawberries. Can't get fresher than that! I'm making this recipe early tomorrow to take to church.
