I was in Japan for college while hallucinating and when I dropped out n came back to America not long after I was diagnosed with schizo-affective disorder. Idk how similar it is to base schizophrenia but I’ll take any information at this point. Thank y’all for informing us 💖🙏🏾

I think this would be helpful for therapists to listen to. I once posited the idea that I could have schizophrenia to a therapist and he said because I wasn’t hallucinating it wasn’t a possibility. Even I know it’s more nuanced than that, without any training in psychology. This is a more comprehensive explanation of the condition 😊

I get psychosis, my mind will think it’s a person and I get so scared. I have major religious trauma and it’s a automatic melt down. I’ve never been so scared in my life unlike I get with my episodes. I know they get triggered when I’m very stressed. I wonder if this is categorized as schizophrenia

I was diagnosed schizophrenic 5 years ago and I actually get all of the types of hallucinations, including tactile hallucinations. My psychiatrist said that my case was "one of the most severe andcompelling" cases she's had in 20 years.
