Another June 4th release: Apostles of Mercy by Lindsay Ellis. It's the concluding book in a sci-fi trilogy about first contact with aliens (the first book Axiom's End) and has all the Alien vibes with an alien who is equal parts terrifying and loveable. LOVE this series so much!

I read an eARC of The God and the Gumiho and it's actually adult (with on-page spice) but reads very YA. I enjoyed learning about Korean mythology (I knew nothing about it beforehand) but unfortunately the book overall was not for me.

I don’t think you’re the odd one out on your opinion of Tidal Creatures cover: I hate it too. Same story for the cover of Mirrored Heavens. Not sure what’s up with June releases, but many subpar cover imo 😅
