NEW PEUGEOT 2008, Updated design:

A new PEUGEOT light signature at the front:
It is the second model to adopt the new PEUGEOT signature headlights. This is characterized by three vertical light claws integrated into gloss black inserts in the bumper of the new 2008. The combination emphasizes the 2008's strong personality and rugged SUV design. All versions feature this new light signature. On the GT versions, the striking effect of the three lugs is extended for the first time in the illumination of the full LED headlights through the use of three light modules. This distinguishes the GT versions from the rest of the range by giving them a special front-end signature.

A redesigned light signature on the rear:
The new LED taillights on all versions of the new 2008 redesign the emblematic three claws that characterize the rear of PEUGEOT. Here they consist of three horizontal double slats superimposed, thin and elegant, which contribute to visually widen the stance of the car. The reversing lights and indicators are also LED.

A reinvented front end:
The new 2008 has a new front end bearing the new PEUGEOT emblem. It is wider and features a special lateral pattern that connects to the headlights and enhances the vehicle's verticality and powerful stance.

Sophisticated ambient lighting on the GT version:
The interior of the new 2008 GT has ambient lighting that can be customised in eight different colours, some of which are new, which are now coordinated with those of the central touch screen and take into account the selected driving mode.

New refined fabrics:
All versions of the new 2008 have renewed seat fabrics, illustrating a real move upmarket, like the new Alcantara upholstery available as an option on the GT versions.

▪ New electrically adjustable Alcantara seat with heating and massage features.
▪ Compact leather steering wheel with new logo integrated controls.
▪ Keyless entry and start.

The new 2008 retains the same exterior dimensions: 4.30 m long, 1.987 m wide (including mirrors), 1.55 m high.
The boot volume is unchanged at 434 litres (under the parcel shelf).

PureTech 100hp: Equipped with the Stop & Start system, the 3-cylinder gasoline engine with a volume of 1.2 liters and a power of 100 hp is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission.

PureTech 130hp: 130 hp, 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine with Stop & Start system can be combined with the EAT8 8-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission.

BlueHDi 130hp EAT8: 130 hp, 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine with Stop & Start system, combined with the EAT8 8-speed automatic transmission.

At the beginning of 2024, the new 2008 will receive the new 48V HYBRID powertrain, consisting of a new generation 136 bhp PureTech petrol engine and a new 6-speed dual-clutch electric transmission with an electric motor.

todo bonito pero, a mi me da mucha desconfianza el motor que es lo más importante, ya es sabido el gran problema del motor Puretech con correa distribución bañanda en aceite y que ha sido un gran dolor de cabezas para muchos dueños cuando se les corta la correa. Ojalá se solucione esa falla desde fabrica.
