I had a 2002 Sentra GXE. Loved that car and miss it. But, until Nissan gets over it's CVT fetish, I guess I won't be buying another.

this new model now gets a bigger body, smaller engine, similarly equipped as 2012, doesn't make sense at all, might as well just get a 2012 for like $5000 less. thanks a lot for the rear drums.

Rented one of these for 5 days and i would say its a alrite ride. Hp wise dnt count on it it has to lil hp for much of a car. I had a 94 g20 and was way more respnsive. Economy wise its good though.

This is leaps and bounds better looking than the B16 Sentra that it replaces. I thought that they axed the SE-R and SE-R SpecV trims, but we'll see.

I would imagine so, but most likely the same amount of power to deliver similar acceleration, these new Sentras are significantly bigger than the older ones, as are pretty much all cars. The new Accords and Camrys are bigger than their 90s counterparts.

It might not go up, but I'm guessing with newer engine technology it needs less power to perform better. Or, in this case, the same amount of power to be faster.

Interesting how in this class the horsepower never really goes up. My sister owns a 2001 Nissan Sentra and it's rated at 128 hp, and this one they said had 130.

its all about fuel economy, this is not the kind of car a person looks for when they looking for power.

my dad has a Versa 2012 and is pretty much the same but i like the led lights that nissan add to this Centra :)
