If you forget about time and just focus on the countless universes, you can see that its not about countless universes, but about countless possibilities right now. Every change in the universe creates a new universe, that looks like the old, but with some changes. No miracle, just an endless series of changes that gives endless possibilities, especially for us conscious and concept-forming humans.

Change and movement is/has its own existence, time does not. When you understand that time is no more real than an inch, 9, 8m/s2, a pound or any other way of measurement, there is no need for parallell universes, just a single one with countless possibilities. And us humans can use our energy, which is all we are at the base level, to create the outcome we want. The universe is a passive mirror that reflects what we send out, so be what you want to be and then you become what you identify with.

In his 2020 interview with Roger Penrose, he jokes about how he went through his phase of believing in the Many Worlds suggesting he doesn't feel this way anymore.
