Omigoodness! Thank you so much for this! I am an English major with concentrations in creative writing and history. I'm currently taking a logic class for my degree and for self-enrichment. I have been doing really great in the class so far. I have been understanding logical fallacies, types of statements, and logical operators really well. Then I came to this. I have been trying to understand this for two days; my boyfriend, who is a programmer, helped me some. However, when I did the assignment, I made the lowest score I have made in this class. Then I went on youtube and I looked through a few videos. I soon realized that all the videos I could find were by men or AMAB individuals. I scrolled and scrolled. Then a bout of internalized sexism I didn't even know was there flared up. Is my fem brain incapable of understanding this concept? Is this why I have leaned to the humanities? And then, is this how women in STEM feel? Then, your first twenty seconds explained it so well. The men I watched were using examples and analogies. My humanities brain kept analyzing these examples excessively. Why is lighting a match necessary for a fire? There are other ways to light a fire. Why is being 35 necessary for being president? There are other rules and plus, it's a stupid rule that protects the conservative elite more often in their cling for power. In your video, you got straight to the point. You used such clear language! Sufficient: with a, b I understand now. I'm going to watch the rest of your video, and hopefully, things will continue to be comprehended. Thank you so much for posting! I hope you keep posting these instructionals.
