How To Find Password Of Any Brother Printer ?

This video review the method to find the password of any brother printer.

This isn't the printer's machine password. If your password isn't listed on the printer itself and isn't one of the stated "default" passwords you can find online, you can find the password by going into your settings and printing a network configuration sheet. My machine printed out 2 pages, and it was on the bottom of the first page. Depending on your machine, it may be different for you.

The default password to manage this machine's settings is located on the back or bottom of the machine and marked "Pwd".
Depending on your model, you may also check the default password by printing the Network Configuration Report.

thank you for sharing this useful information because I struggle with any update that I can't see as mentioned by the factory that the password is on the back which I don't have, however I followed your instructions exactly and I still get an error message that the password is wrong and I took that as you directed on wi-fi direct, I don't knopw how to update it

Neither of the standard passwords worked for me and of course there wasn't a password on the back of the machine as stated by the software.

This video allowed me to find it but the menu structure is very different on other models of machine. Note with my printer, you can also update the firmware from the menu of the machine your printer is on a network connection that provides internet connection. You don't need a password to update that way.

i have a brother printer laser printer 8085dn and i printed a network config sheet and the machines password for the internet online for the web address password isn't on it i don't have a PWD or anything on the back

This didn't work for me. Discovered the password was embedded on a badge on the back of the printer. Look for the letters & numbers after "pwd".

Once I got there on my brother HL-L2350dw, it wouldn’t let me go back. I had to unplug my printer. And the password given wouldn’t even work on the firmware.

Good video but didn't work for me. Can't find on the bottom, back, network sheet, box, manual or anywhere online..I don't know why they just don't make it "password" and let everyone change it..really frustrating...why can't everyone be like Apple...smart, elegant and works. If anyone has any ideas on what the password might be, I'd welcome it...I've tried Password, Admin and all the other usual suspects...Thanks!
