0:45 The spikes not rotating on grid is a bug that happens while you're paused in playtesting mode, which you were.

7:44 when you add decorations add some light bulbs or other lights to make it seem like you're disabling the power by getting the collectible so it makes the area effect feel like the ligths went out

Honestly I'm so glad that robtop added all the pixel blocks. This gives creators so much time to focus on the gameplay mechanics on both regular amd platform levels

Cool layout! Area triggers are defenetly insane and I think you should experiment things with gradient too for example you should test the vertex mode option because the gradient is a true masterpiece object too

If you didn’t know, there is a setting in the gd editor that allows you to scale objects to 0.25x and 4x size instead of only 0.50x and 2x. There is also a keybind that lets you use the scroll wheel to zoom in and out, which is ctrl + scroll wheel. I found out about these things like week ago, and felt it would be nice to share the information, for those who didn’t know.

instead of using a touch triggered area trigger, you can put the trigger in the "toggle on" group for the pickup (in edit special on the pickup object), and it will activate when you pick it up. that way you don't have to worry about matching the hitboxes exactly

1:30 u have to press the square button so your icon goes away and then it works normally, and i know... that's so dumb :D

edp checkbox not only shows gamemode borders tho. edp basically displays in creator mode how different triggers and gameplay changes would work in normal mode (reverse trigger, arrow trigger etc). you can also set an order to sync music line thing with messy 2.2 gameplay which is so helpful

hey, i saw you using the free move option so just in case you didn't know, you can use free move while holding CTRL

Wulzy manages to make GOOD, PLAYABLE levels in 2.2 weeks after its coming out, and everytime i try they look like RobTop having a stroke.

when it comes to making levels for me anyways it seems like decorating and making the layout has really merge for me because of the camera controls and shaders, like if you want to make a part decorated like a moon, you can now also put gravity triggers which would directly affect the gameplay. Or how you could make the camera stay still for a transition and thus also making your gameplay different because you can teleport backwards and so on.
