Gives the right perspective to things and the way our life has been. Worst part is, we can't be asshole even if we wanted to

I could have never seen that ending coming. And that's probably the best bit about the movie. Really good job.

I'm not going to lie, out of the hundreds of "award winning" short films, this is the best one I've seen so far. acting was good and the premise was just really interesting and partly original. I respect you your work!

There was something deeply thought provoking in something so simple and serene.
I don't think nice guys finish last. They probably think that they will and give up too soon.

A nice guy can't stop smiling (at the simplicity of this story) and laughing (at the jinx he carries) at the same time!

This is absolutely true ..
Loved all your short movie . We live in a society where hypocrisy rules . But your efforts are really appreciated. The new generation like me loves to see such kind of videos . Hoping to see more of this ! Keep the good work going 👍

It’s 2024 and I remember seeing this as a teen and I am revisiting this just because I remembered that it was very beautiful and has a lot of thought and perspective

Oh My God, I can't believe this "nice guys finish last" bullshit has made it to Indian shores too. Why make this a male-female thing? This isn't something only girls do. Guys do it too. A lot of "nice guys" go for the female equivalents of the "tough guys" portrayed in the video. They go for the popular, hot girls and are left disappointed. Do they actually go for the "nice girls"- the plain, sensitive, not-so-hot girl who provides behind-the-scenes support? No. "Nice girls" go through this kind of rejection too, however there is no "nice girls finish last" adage to support them.
They just accept it as a part of life.
There are already a lot of issues in the changing sphere of the male-female relationships in India. We really don't need this "nice guys finish last" drivel telling guys to wallow in self-pity and thinking that they don't have girlfriends because they are "nice".
It's not constructive and leaves guys with feelings of bitterness which can lead to self-harm, revenge and bullying in its most extreme form.
Guys, don't believe it- if you feel like someone has taken advantage of you and doesn't value you, look around: maybe the "nice girl" was the one waiting for you to notice her. We always meet people who don't return our affections, it happens to everyone. By making it a men vs women issue and telling guys that rejection happens because of their inherent goodness, you are actually giving birth to bitterness against women and feelings of reduced self-worth in "nice guys".
