The fact that a first year without any engineering knowledge (presumably, unless they were a hobbyist) made this is quite impressive. It’s not that hard for a final year student or a graduate, but for a first year this is pretty excellent.

Also, if anyone wants to know what those wheels are called they’re “mechanum wheels”.

For anyone unaware, this robotics system and this vision challenge is also part of the FTC high school robotics challenge, so it’s cool to see all the different ways people have implemented duck detection code this year.

For anyone feeling intimidated watching this, I can safely tell you we aren't building robots from scratch in CS50 intro class lol. Well maybe cartoon robots in Scratch (beginner programming tool).

That’s cool, I built a robot using computer vision too. Not my final project but it was a good way to learn to code. I’ve never coded before.🙂

May I ask what did you study in CS50 for that type of project? I started learning CS50 because I love robotics and needed more base on the software, would love to end up making a project like that!

What language are you using? To make the program? Cause a know the control hub uses Java, but I'm a Python programmer
