Learn to pair a 5 inch Touchscreen to the Raspberry Pi.

I’ve had this raspberry pi for quite some time now, and was thinking on what new projects I could work on using this. One thing which actually stops me from using this, even though it can be powered via a powerbank, is, it still is not portable? Well we’re going to fix that problem in this video.

This is brilliant. I've been messing around for ages trying to get this screen working. The instructions work perfectly even for a Pi 4 running Debian 11... Use a HDMI to Micro HDMI cable because the Pi4 sockets are different and the stand off pillars aren't in the correct place, but besides that just follow the instructions and the screen and touch panel work perfectly. Thankyou.

I have this lcd display for my raspberry pi 3b, but the HDMI adapter that came with it doesn't work, it gives no signal. I got another connector but it still does not work, while it does work when I use an HDMI cable. Do you know by chance if I am doing something wrong and what I can do to make it work without needing a long hdmi cable?

hello sir, after the rebooting just like in 5:00 when i get in the desktop i am finding my wifi disabled although which is not and i cannot enable it and also the touch is inverted along an axis can u plz tell me the solution to both of this issues and i m using pi 4 model b. thank you

I prefer a minimalistic 3.5" size for the portable one. I'm building another "desktop" setup with legacy and GPIO cable to breadboard which can have a 5" display. You can overstretch the resolution (480x320 --> 720x480 as an example). There are other potential tweaks to play with in the files used at boot.

All works perfectly until I tried to install the matchbox-keyboard . there is an error meaage as its seems the resource is not available anymore. Does anybody know a different code to use?
