I shot that deer two week was 32 feet high at the shoulders and weighed in at just over 3100 pounds.

WOW I have shed hunted for years and I have never found a shed that massive! Good eye!

Reminds me when me and a friend duped a coworker who had never hunted deer, but was asking us how and where. So, we told him a place, then before he went, cut out a cardboard decoy and painted it. We did not do a good job and I did not think it would work, but the day he was going out, my friend left before he did then put it in a prime location about 100 yards off the main trail, then hid on the other side waiting. Sure enough, our coworker came walking the trail, saw it, shot it, missed, then shot a couple more times with one shot low and the other actually good. He stood there puzzled as my friend started laughing and showed himself. The next day we ended up hanging it on the lunchroom wall with the caption "Sal's Trophy". We worked for a firearms manufacturer, so hunting was not as controversial as it seems everywhere else, so it garnered a lot of laughs. I feel bad today as it was not his best moment and he sincerely confided in us, but it was sure funny then... Sal, if you read this, I apologize. But you gotta admit, it was a great idea and you kinda deserved it. I mean, we did a horrid job, you had a scope, it never moved and still could not tell it was fake.
