Where's the monetary policy accountability? Shouldn't the Central Bank be responsible for bankrupting Canadians with this inflation? Governor should be fired for past mistakes even though by 2024 if inflation returns to 2%. If an average Canadian citizen performs like this in his/her job don't they get fired?

Half a trillion dollars of deficit spending during the pandemic has heated the economy, in most instances paid to fraudsters. Please audit this spending and take it back from people that did not deserve it. There is no need to hike rates.

The BoC also should not be putting out what is essentially marketing material for government talking points. They done exactly that on child care and climate recently.

If it were real i.e. if the bank would indeed be fully independent, making decisions based on analysis and foresight then it's independence would be applauded. But since it had NOT acted without political coercion, had in fact, simply given way to a leader's whim and need to look benevolent rather than being prudent in a crisis, it gave up it's independence and therefore needs to be censored !!
