Maschine Plus w S61 and Komplete 13 Ultimate is a Powerful Setup

Decided to try out my new Komplete Kontrol S61 with the Maschine Plus in controller mode to take advantage of additional plugins in Komplete 13 Ultimate and make a little track from scratch. Thank you to Mick Benjamins and Native Instruments for providing the S61 and Komplete 13 Ultimate. They had no say in this video's content but are appreciated nonetheless.

I have an S88 and would like to have a Maschine (+ or MK3) so i can play the rythm and background at the maschine and play the lead on the S88. Is it possible that both devices can load an instance from the computer SEPERATELY ?

Hi Dylan, great demo, one question about this setup, is the KK S61 scale mode works with maschine plus? In the past I noticed that the scale mode on the S61 only works when using the KK plugin in a daw.

Hiya Dylan! Loving this, and have the same setup (as of this evening - had them both for a while but only just plugged them together! Two questions, if you can help, please? 1. Do you have a link / search term for the maschine+ stand (if you think it’s good and stable/steady? And 2. Is there a way of getting a decent real piano sound out of the machine+? I’ve got Komplete 13 with all the trimmings, but filtering by grand piano not gave me one result, and it definitely wasn’t an acoustic piano sound! Thank you for your help, if you can!

I am a noob. I have a launchpad and a Microfreak now, and use logic. I do indie from Depeche Mode and Police to Wilco Broken Bells territory. So new wave to indie to some folkish and blues ish singer songwriter… In a duo with my wife..
I am thinking about upgrading to Maschine (not plus) controller, and S61, and Im guessing Ill need a Komplete bundle with the instruments I need? Drums bass and guitar being the base of all, plus keys/pads/synth and vox.
Am I on the right track?
Anyway for gear and software am I on the right track? Maschine S61 and Komplete bundle that has the instruments we want or need?
Will that do all, with logic?
If you were in a duo like us. What would you choose? Youve shown me how powerful it can be. I like your setup but I don’t think we need the Maschine plus, I dont mind a macbook air in the rig. And I want the VST instruments.

Im a guitar player first language, so I was goingbto get a JamStick studio midi guitar to try as a controller, for what I lack in keyboard ability.. And I want to add a drum pad with kick and hat pedals, as I can play drums better with sticks than my fingers.
Hows that sound? Good rig?
