Sync + Perform With Maschine and Traktor

Hi mate, thanks for the video very useful. But you didn't mention how to put Maschine into an Audio Mixer via a sound card. As it will be great to have it separately from the other desks on Traktor to control the volume and add some FX's.

you only explained the first part, how to connect Maschine to Traktor and synch them, but then in the video you had forgotten to explain how to connect the Machine audio to the mixer o the controller.

I´m owning maschine studio and traktor´s software, I wanted to fix exactly that. I guess I will need at least a mixer also.

You also need to go into the Traktor Preferences->Midi Clock and enable the "Send Midi Clock" option.  Was setting this up here and don't think that was mentioned in the video, , , thanks for the tutorial

For those where the Sync and play section for is grey (in the traktor software) you need to tick "Send midi clock" in the midi configuration in traktor

Good information, but what I would like to know, do you need to have a 4 channel sound card to have Maschine route through one of the mixer channels or can you layer the sound over the track if you only have a 2 channel sound card like Traktor Scratch A6. Also would the initial setup apply to Maschine Mikro.

I've tried this out before; between Traktor, the Remix Decks and Maschine you can make some pretty cool music on the fly, fun as hell too. I've stuck mainly with Remix Decks for now as I don't trust my computer to handle both Traktor and Maschine without something crashing. But yeah...Add in Guitar Rig 5 as a plugin with Maschine and you got a whole lot of awesome sauce.
