Great! My A70's screen stopped responding and this helped so I didn't have to wait for it to drain. I miss the old days where you just can hold down the OFF button until it shuts down. I think this took too long so I thought it didn't work. I'm not going to accidentally press down the two buttons even half that time. Sometimes you just need to turn something off and on again to fix issues. :D

Thank you! The newest update feb 2024 basically bricked my phone and this allowed me to at least shut it down. It's not even working enough that being inside the system control using vol up n power button is working

Would this eliminate any suspicious activity that is causing the phone to perform in an unusual way ( like apps lagging or a potential virus ) in the phone ?

Any idea what to do if the screen is white? I see vibrations. When I followed your advice in this video, I could see slight the Samsung screen as if with dripping paint. But nothing responds on the screen.

Reboot not reset. Reset is setting everything back to factory.

Here's the SOLUTION to force POWER OFF.

The thing is you must have the CHARGER PLUGGED INTO YOUR PHONE.
Then, as mentioned above, press both Volume-Down and Power keys, hold for a while and release them as soon as the screen gets black. When the phone is not charging, this procedure restarts the system, but if it's charging, it turns the power off!
