Prologue - End of An Era | The Legend of Genji

From the Fire Nation to Ba Sing Se, the world mourns the sudden passing of Avatar Korra. Just days ago, an apocalyptic surge of spiritual energy erupted in the heart of Ba Sing Se. The light of the blast was visible for miles, leading analysts to estimate that it was at least ten times the magnitude of the explosion that opened the Republic City Spirit Portal.

Officials have released few details to the public, but dozens of eyewitnesses say the Avatar redirected the energy skyward in a legendary feat of energybending. Because of Avatar Korra, the walls of Ba Sing Se still stand, and millions of innocent lives have been spared. Her sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The future is uncertain, but Korra's spirit lives on. The cycle continues.

When I was a child, I used to read stories about my grandfather and everything he did, and then, I met the Avatar Korra, and although she did great things, her time in this world was short.
But I have faith in the new Avatar cycle
Somewhere in the earth kingdom, the new Avatar is waiting.

Something ya'll don't realize tho. Every Avatar so far that we've seen, has more or less solved the problem of the previous Avatar that was most regretted. With Aang, it was stopping the Fire Nation, which Roku couldn't do. With Korra, it was bringing back the Air Nomad Nation, which was Aangs biggest regret. Consequently, Korras biggest regret was seemingly loosing the Avatar bond with their previous lives. This might be what Genji is able to fix, somehow.

Honestly, I don't think someone aged 60-70 is that old. I personally think that 77 or 80 is old. And why are people in the comments saying that Aang's health like went down or something because he was stuck in the iceberg? 🙁

The only problem I have with this is Korra died far too young! She suffered so much during the series. The fact that she could have more time with Asami and her friends is actually a deal breaker for me.
