Jesus not only went there specifically FOR her, but he revealed himself TO her knowing that her heart was guarded by a brick wall. He waited, listened, loved her where she was, forgave her & gave her HOPE to start a new life in Him. In spirit & truth we can worship

Tears 😭 Just beautiful! Seeing ourselves as that woman at the well whatever we “think” our hang ups may be: overeating, self doubt, looking for love in all the wrong places, addiction to drugs, alcohol, shopping or food. It doesn’t matter. Jesus says, “Run to me! Drink and thirst no more.”
And the fact He went looking for her, waiting for her to show up should be so telling to us right now that He is looking for and waiting for you. For me.

This hit home hard. The things I've done! I cheated on my ex-fiance and left her for another woman. I hurt and betrayed someone I was supposed to love in one of the most selfish and cowardly ways possible. I found out years later that my ex fell from her faith and took a turn for the worse. All set in motion because of me. I can't undo what I have done, but I have asked for Christ's forgiveness and I unceasingly pray for my ex-fiance's healing of spirit and renewal of faith. She reminds me of the woman at the well.

We have all been like the woman at the well. Jesus has looked through the lenses of our lives and sees it all, yet He still says come and drink from everlasting water. His forgiveness is unconditional and so amazing.
