The woman at the well.

She only appears in one passage in one of the gospels. And yet she is one of the most well-known figures in scripture. Hers is a story preached regularly in churches. She’s a prominent figure in theatrical depictions of the gospels because she represents someone redeemed by Jesus, a sinner who sees the error of her ways and is among the first to believe in him.

But what if we are wrong about the Samaritan woman?

What if some of the things we believe about her aren’t quite what they seem?
What if there is more to her story than we’ve heard in churches?
And what if it all can be found just in those few short verses where she appears?

Well, today, I’m going to share with you 4 things you didn’t know as we discover the TRUTH about…the woman at the well.

I love Jesus so much. I've felt like the woman at the well and identified with her, not cause I've had numerous divorces but because I've felt alone and misunderstood. I love how the woman at the well immediately went out to tell everyone about Jesus after their meeting and brought so many to become disciples. I love that Jesus inspires people to go out and do good!

Thank you pastor. I love you Jesus. Please hear my prayers. I’m struggling with my faith. I knew when I found Jesus my life wouldn’t be easy because I would have to give up on my sinful life style and follow him. I’m a single mother struggling to make ends meet. Since covid I have been struggling to get back on my feet. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions, lupus and heart disease so now I’m having a hard time providing for my children. Both of my sons are special needs. Im overwhelmed I started homeschooling them due to bullying. I’m waitressing and I’m happy to be back working but I’m not making nearly enough to get by. I have nowhere to turn no family nor friends. No hope. I have been put down and mocked, over my situation, by other christians. I’ve been blocked just for asking for prayers. I’m so ashamed and so embarrassed so please be kind. Every month I’m faced with homelessness with my children I’m barely making it. But I still keep faith. Praise Jesus. Please hear my prayers. I have faith God will continue to provide.

And also, women met their husband's at the well. I believe this beautiful story represents us being redeemed by his blood and then brought back to our Father at the Wedding Feast.

I am the Woman At The Well! .... very similar circumstances that I won't go into, but finally at the age of 49, as a prodigal daughter, I ran as fast as I could to THE FATHER....I knew I had been saved at an early age by Grace thru Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ...I knew the Holy Spirit was always with me; always gently whispering while I was in sin urging me to stop and go back home (to Jesus)..Some of my heartache is of own doing; but when my husband, the love of my life (and a Pastor) left me, well let's just say..The next 23 years was simply HELL for me... I've always held the opinion that THIS husband would carry some responsibility for my almost ruined life...going by Scripture IMHO...

Anyway, when I came back to the Lord, I really came back to my FATHER'S HOUSE.... I needed my spiritual FATHER... I'd never had much of a father growing up...(Although he became saved in my middle teenage years...and served the LORD faithfully as Pastor and Evangelist until his death) But the damage had been done with regards of how I approached a man woman relationship.. especially after our divorce...I can say for a fact THAT IT IS INDEED GOD'S GRACE AND MERCY THAT GOT ME BACK ON TRACK... NOW FOR THE SECOND SET OF 23 YEARS AND GOING STRONG!! THANK YOU LORD✝️🛐
At this point my testimony is taken from LAMENTATIONS 3:23-24
"22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed,
because his compassions fail not.
23 They are new every morning:
great is thy faithfulness."

It is an amazing to see God’s grace and mercy. She signifies the House of Israel which God divorced, and the promise of Jeremiah 31:31 and I believe the promises is Hosea. She talked about her father Jacob (Israel). And immediately she believed part of lost Israel… that’s how this story seems to resonate and it’s a most amazing thing….

I hope you'll do a video on "The truth about Phillip" also. John 14 and Philip was when I understood the truth about The Father and Yeshua as being one and the same. It was a huge spiritual wakening to me. It means so much to me because of my past childhood abuse. I couldn't stand God being called Father, that meant pain to me. Yeshua was kind and loving, I could accept Him. Abba Father told me, during the healing of my past, that He sent an angel to whisper in my parents ears to name me Phyllis. My dad wanted nothing but boys and he got 4 girls which he hated. Dad always reminded me I was supposed to be his Philip. So, I'd like to see what you have about Philip. Abba Father has healed me of the past and done great things for me, to HIm I give all thanks and praise. Thank you for your videos! May Adonai bless you.

Apparently this was my reading this morning. I just observed in Genesis 24:11, the verse said that evening was the time when women go out to draw water while on the other hand, you said that women go out to draw water in the morning.
