Sorry everyone about how I touched the record. Not sure why I did that 🤦🏻‍♂️ but the packing part yes! You can add some bubble wrap if needed and if it’s a more fragile disc just double box if needed.

You mean to tell me that you found a record at a thrift store that wasn’t Christmas themed

You forgot one thing. As an indication that bending brakes the item you should include something in that will break before the item, so include paint sticks around the perimeter on both sides

This is great.
You'd be surprised how some retailers mail records, you would think they'd know how it's done but I've received so many seam splits due to them leaving the record inside the jacket, very frustrating

My musical theater nerd self heard you call it just "this record", and I think I blue-screened.

Corner dings can still occur Extra corner protectors should be put on all four corners You got everything else correct 🎉

Getting one of these jawns in the mail is always so hype

Nothing more beautiful than a correction.

I bought a rare record once from a store in L.A. It was packed very well for shipping to me in Chicago via snail mail. Unfortunately, some postal worker put a 1/2 inch perfectly round hole through the multi-layered packaging. My guess, a metal rod of some sort was used. I’ve received many disasters shipped via mail. Tire marks on packages which were run over, plastic shipping envelopes razor-bladed in a very inconspicuous way and contents removed via the slits, etc etc etc.

...and the cheapest way to ship is US Postal Service's MEDIA MAIL rate: good for all single, or multiple books, brochures, posters, records, tapes, any CD music or laser disc, cassette tapes, or any size vinyl recordings, or the rare aluminum disc recordings.

Instead of sandwiching it between two pieces of corrugated you should use actual solid cardboard about a quarter inch thick, its less likely to bend.

I worked at FedEx for a while loading trucks. I would never trust that whatever you will be in the same condition when it gets to it's finial destination

Thrifter, i saw your tv controller video, if you use the other camera on your phone you can see the light better, the back camera has an IR filter so its a lot dimmer there

Don't use paper sleeves the scratch the grooves. You can get 100 plastic sleeves for $10

Dude I wish everyone did this. I've had so many records arrive with split sleeves.

I wish all eBay people were as conscientious as you were with packaging their product to ship. I hate eBay for charging 10% of your shipping and packaging cost.

Yes but you have to reinforce the 4 corners so as not to get dented during transit ‼️
