SEO Phase 2 has also been changed. Amazon decommissioned the Brand Analytics tool that showed Pink Words.

Summary: Phase 4 SEO takes our strike zone keyword strategy (phase 3) to the next level, with Amazon’s new search query tool. Our strike zone strategy currently reviews well-indexed products with 800+ organically ranked keywords currently reflected, in which we take organically ranked keywords from 20-50 and utilize them in order to get these specific keywords to rank 1-19. The Phase 4 SEO Query phase also is for mature listings with 800+ indexed keywords, but in this phase, we will be utilizing Amazon’s real-time data in order to make determinations of top keywords for the overall brand or category.

The Why: You must index before you get market share. This phase encompasses mature listings, and then will allow you to utilize the top market share data to continually optimize the listings with well-converting and placed keyword data, and allows you to view this data on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis.

The How:

This phase should be used in conjunction with our Phase 3 strategy. This phase does not replace the phase 3 strategy, but rather supplements and compliments it, especially in terms of finding historical data based on months of the year, to know both what to target against in a specific month (holidays take note here) for SEO and for a PPC strategy.

Thanks for this Steven. I’m working on stage 4 market share. I’ve seen in this video that you’re going off the rank amazons placed for each word and the relevance you believe it has for the age of sage pack for gifts for moms. My question is why wouldn’t you rather aim on targeting the words where you’re getting most sales from higher up in the rank that Amazon’s given? So sort the words according to clicks and then see which ones brought most sales and then have those words all over the listing?

I have a question Steven - Can I create 4 groups of back end keywords and have them on different child listings? This is so I can get more keywords on the back end "generic keywords". What do you think ?

Hi, steven please 10:30 time you were talking about setting more specific keywords in the backend of A+ images but I do not know how to do that can you explain that please, can we do the same thing with listing images?

I have a question about the backend search terms section:
Let's assume that I already have the most relevant keywords by conversion and search volume in the title, bullet points, or description and are already indexed and well-ranked but aren't in the search terms box.

Should I also use these main keywords in the search terms box instead of secondary ones (currently using), that don't appear on the visible listing and are much less relevant?

I'd like to know if replacing the secondary words with the more powerful ones in the search terms even if they are already on the visible details page, could have a better impact on sales and ranking.
