This video doesn't sell the microphone. There are times where I can barely hear you speaking. When you talk directly into the mic the quality is good but then when interviewing with a person you use a different microphone and I can barely hear whats going on again. I get the need for Pop filters but having three layers is probably effecting the mic sensitivity. Lets face it when ever you are podcasting or even streaming you are bound to turn your head at one time or another and if your voice cant be heard then the message isn't going to get across. If you have to have the mic right up to your mouth to get the best quality, I am not going to give this mic a second look. in a podcast the person is the focal point not the mic.

Now for a big hall like you are in on this video it is very good because ambient noise is a deal breaker. Ambiant noise often breaks the ratings in a very negative way. Its distracting and annoying.

Most podcasts or streams are done in a much smaller room subcluded as much as possible from ambient noise. So to have the voice be unintaligable when your head is turned away is (no bueno) Not good.

I use a beyond simple FiFine USB mic lol super cheap and does the job for live streaming

IMO the Zoom ZDM-1 is much better in terms of sound quality and price. I love AT, but this mic is very flat. I have both.

You really can't beat the $70 Samson Q2U dynamic microphone w/ USB *and* XLR connections.
