Tip: if your scared someone will read your vent book, when you make your vent book put the vents far in the middle of the book so people will think it’s just a blank book! Hope this helped!

I hid mine under my mattress, my brother found it and read it all, then yelled at me for it. He invaded my space, I never go in his room but he looked under my mattress?! I was so mad at him.. He's manipulative in a way so he made me think for a long time that it was normal for youngest sibling to have no privacy.. I hate him

tips if ur gonna make/have a vent journal >3

- make the cover all cute and pretty and yes (use cute stickers, a cover, etc)
- make last and first few pages notes and cute too
- put vents in the middle of the book so ppl think it’s js a blank book
- put ur book in somewhere that’s not obvious like in ur closet, clothing (yea that’s pretty weird but whteva), middle of textbooks, under a box filled plushies, etc

pls don’t have a vent book js bc u see a lot of ppl have one, people actually suffer in their life because of their home or school style! only use it for ur own good and pls don’t actually commit šùìç¡ďè, I wanted to do that too until i realized my life was better then that >3

Vent books are there to help your feelings convert properly, And it also makes people comfterful writing all there feelings on a sheet of paper rather then keeping there feelings all rattled up in there head, Vent books are also there to help people with ASHMA OR ETC grow out, Because ASHMA Can grow out (to/for those who didn't know it could)

It's scary how a child needs to have a vent book...

If you don’t think these would work as well, here are some things I recommend!

1. Inside your bed sheet, the thing that covers you up when you are sleeping, or you can put it in the sheet of your bed which you sleep on.

2. If you have a drawer with clothes, (especially pants) hide it in the clothes. Here’s how to do it. Get your pants, (the ones at the back) and put the book inside of the top part of the pants. Fold it over and make it not look obvious. Take the pants and put them in the back of the drawer. Just remember, if you wanna wear them, move the book to a different pair of pants.

3. If you have any boxes full of old toys or books, take the book and put it the box. If you have any bags in your room you no longer use, put the book in the bag, then put the bag in the box.

4. In your pillowcase!

5. If you have a kind of air vent in your room, take the book and put it inside of the air vent.

6. If you have a high up shelf with random items, slide the book behind the items on the wall, or put the book under one of the items.

7. If you have a desk that isn’t fully against the wall and it has a minimal amount of space, slide the book behind the desk.

i don’t have a vent book/have serious struggles, but here r some tips!

-use code words
-make the 1st and last pages look like a school journal, maybe even with some *cute* doodles
-make the cover look pretty
-maybe hide it in a random box, a bin of plushies, etc.
-use cute stickers
-maybe make a little hideout (like a lil tent with blankets, plushies, pillows, maybe even string lights inside to make u feel comfortable while writing)
