Bro the fact Mike Chang was the first student to get up to comfort her, he has such strength and is so unrecognised in this show, the guy only got one episode dedicated to him alone

This scene is powerful. Something I didn't notice before was the subtle nuance of how only her long time friends saw how the performance was affecting her and knew something was wrong well before she broke down. You can see it first in 1:17, you can see it in Tina's face where she looks concerned. Then of course Mr Schue who can see what's coming, then Mike. This scene breaks my heart every time because it's as real as you can get.

Everytime i even hear the beginning i start tearing up, i'm hispanic and apart of the lgbt community and she helped me understand that i wasn't alone and who i was and in a way, i owe her so much. may she rest in peace, along with cory, they deserved so much

I can't listen to this song without balling my eyes out. This breaks my heart. Just listen to the words and it hits far too close to home with what happened to Naya.

After Cory died and Naya had to perform this song, Naya says in her book that she got so upset performing that Will and Mike (the actors who played those characters) were genuinely worried about her, it wasn't scripted for them to go up to her like that.
