I realize this review is over a year old, but wanted to note that as of November 2019, PrimeWeld began shipping this unit with a new (more traditional, center-pivot) foot pedal. Have had my unit for two months, and couldn't be happier.

I own 5 welders AHP, Everlast and Hobart and happy with all of them. This company has really caught my eye lately. Great reviews and most speak very highly of their customer support and seem to honor there warranty as expected.
I've read and heard they make some of the best plasma cutters out there also with better than most attachments. I think I'm going to get their 60 amp just to look at it.
You do the best reviews on YouTube. Fair. Informative. Helpful. Thanks.

I love my Primeweld TIG225 so much I also bought a Primeweld Cut60 plasma torch to make a CNC plasma table out of. One of the great things about Primeweld products is the fact that they really do have 24/7 service. Twice I have had a question and sent an email on a Sunday afternoon and both times I had a useful answer within an hour or less. Also, the new, upgraded foot pedal works great.

Update: called again today, I talked to George for a long time. He is great at helping figuring out what I was doing wrong. Customer service after the sell is awesome.

After watching Justin's review, I purchased this machine in Jan 2022 and I have no regrets! This is a great beginner machine and a great value; my machine included the new pedal upgrade. I've MIG and stick welded for many years but this is my first experience with TIG. Thanks to Justin's fantastic videos and the quality of this machine, I learned quickly and my results are very good. I'm learning every day and having fun doing it as I've become the whole neighborhood's resource for little welding favors!

Got mine a week ago off the bay 775.00 love it FINALLY A REVIEW ON THE TUBE arron at 6061 has one but did a 6061 vid short and sweet but you just showed me ton about the machine thank god running beads while your vid was going thanks glad i got a good one
