Colter Wall's songwriting is full of hard-won wisdom. Watch him perform a track from his self-titled, Dave Cobb-produced debut record at the 11th Street Bar in New York for Night Owl.

If only I had that voice, I'd be singing every chance I would get.

this really is the best version of the song, once the band comes in.

Love it! Nice when he plays solo but really like the edition of a small band.

Bonus points for the Kentucky State Police hat!! The Bluegrass State is the best.

Great, Son. Love your guitar pickin'.
Waylon made it to the top by playing these same type dives.🎻🎸

I've heard him play on a few videos and bought his albums and I still can't tell if he intentionally likes the string rattle from his guitar, or if he's oblivious to it?
