Everything was working fine I put the blade on and put the screw on but I can't tighten it because no matter how hard I push that gray button won't depress Do you know what the problem could be?

I purchaseed a diablo blade but the hole in the center is kind of bigger than the Ryobi blade. I have not opened do you think will work the original blade hole is 10mm. I m a little confused.
