No auto tune, he’s really singing from his heart. Pure talent.

Yah the ladies ALL melt when they hear this. Others have tried, even Elvis, but nobody comes close to Bobby Hatfield. Bobby owns it!

Before autotune, singers actually had to be able to sing.

You are the FIRST person to get that this was LIVE. And what this means. No autotune. No variation from the album. No. He freaking NAILED IT right out of the box with ZERO effort. Show me ONE artist in today's age who is capable of this kind of performance.

My husband used to dance to this. He died 15 years ago. This song makes me cry. Every time.

Its called real talent..respect to the young generation that appreciates real music.

What gets me is that he sings this quite differently to the studio version, and that last note, which no man has any right to be hitting, is sung live with no auto tune, no backing track, and wasn't on the studio version. It's just genius.

The 1960' s and 70' s had some of the best music ever I'm happy to have grown up in that time

I’m so thrilled to see young people “discovering” this music now!!! The Righteous Brothers consisted of Bill Medley & Bobby Hatfield. The music was know as white soul or Blue eyed soul music. It was the best time in my life & I absolutely loved this song, had most of their albums. I also love You’ve Lost that Living Feeling. NOW FINALLY, younger people may understand why we “old farts” have been bitching about most of today’s music, with auto tune & other computerized methods. These songs they actually had sing! They HAD to rely on their God given talent. You should check out more of their sings, try: You’ve lost that living feeling, for one. I have read that Unchanged Melody was written by a man in prison, writing to his wife. You can feel the depth of his pain, despair & loneliness, can’t you. Keep on rockin’ son! May god bless you.

This song is considered one of the greatest songs of all time. This song is 54 years old, and the hair on my arms still stand on end. Greatness never dies ❤️

"This is live..." Yes, because it was recorded back when a person actually had to be able to sing in order to have a singing career. It's not like that anymore, sadly enough.

Nobody has ever sang this song like him. Elvis didn’t even come close. Once a song is sung perfectly, nobody should ever touch it again. This is one of those very few songs by the artist with a perfect voice for it.

It's an incredible performance, he sings like it is a natural as breathing. No histrionics, no heavy breaths, no wild hand gestures.

It was called "blue-eyed" soul and the Righteous Brothers had it indeed.

"The Righteous Brothers" were a duo -- but this is a solo by Bobby Hatfield.
