Teacher of the Year 2022 | Aldine ISD

9,000 teachers and staff work in Aldine ISD. 6 teachers were named Teacher of the Year finalists. Teaching is a profession full of sacrifice. This is the story of the sacrifices and impact education has had on: Daryle Freeman, Davis High School Choir Director, Mackenzie Cho, MacArthur High School English teacher, Carissa Clohessy, Drew Academy Engineering and Gateway to Technology teacher, Chantil Gill, 2nd grade self-contained (all subjects) teacher, Linda Nigro, Vardeman Primary P.E. Coach, and Jordy Rios, Oleson Elementary Bilingual Math teacher.

Congratulations to the Secondary Teacher of the Year winner Daryle Freeman, and Elementary Teacher of the Year winner Linda Nigro!
