For example if we take Mayan calendar, it has indication of movement of stars and planets and such astrological events. So by seeing Mayan calendar we should use our mind as to why such calendars are made. So they intentionally left those items for next generation to think and proceed further in the study of Cosmos.
Now Mayan civilization may be flourishing on some other planets or in some other universe or galaxy.
