It also pulls itself to the car
(Car) < (Magnet)
Thus cancelling it and stays still (Car>) = (<Magnet)
If we were to get into detail Newton said for every action in nature there is an equal and opposite reaction so if (A) pulls (B) (B) also pulls (A) another example is a gun when a bullet exits the chamber it accelerates with an explosion thus causing to recoil
