You just gave me an idea. Replacing the driver with the water pumps pliers makes this a real nice edc kit.

I have both the Knipex 5" water pump pliers and the 6' pliers wrench, which this kit has. I picked up 2 Kobalt sets yesterday and I am going to EDC a set and store 1 set in my motorcycle. I was using the Knipex set in a pocket tool pouch and I have been worried about accidentally leaving it somewhere. Now I can put my Knipex in my tool bag and use them for tight spots like replacing a sink facet, which these sizes are amazing for, and other tight spaces. I might go back and get another set for my bicycle bag, just in case I need to make a repair away from home. These are by far not going to replace my Knipex for job tools, but for EDC, they will definitely fix an unexpected surprise leak at a friend's or family's house, which is why I am so thankful for Lowes. I have been hoping for a set like this for a long time. I have the Icon 10 inch pliers wrench, which I thought eventually smaller sizes would become available. These are the exact sizes of the Knipex that I was hoping something cheaper would become available. I am extremely happy, even though I wish the tools didn't have as much slop. They definitely work though.

I bought a set of those kobalt and was more impressed than I expected, so I went back and bought another set.

In relation to the socket kit, why would someone put the icon kit inside of that? The only thing it gets you is the unique small ratchet, but you are going to remove a full size ratchet for that? I bought the 1/4 V-series craftsman and traded the standard ratchet for the flex head 1/4" V-series ratchet. In this configuration, it does everything the icon kit does and more and it's only slightly larger. I also have the icon kit and I rubber band a 1/4" socket rail to it.
