Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust Thanks Postcode Lottery Players

The Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust has received £40,000 from People's Postcode Lottery to allow the launch of a Scottish hub on the west coast of Scotland. With a presence in Largs, young people suffering with or diagnosed with cancer or leukaemia will soon be able to sail from Scotland, rather than making the difficult journey down to Southampton and onto the Isle of Wight. Frank Fletcher, Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust CEO, said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to the players of People's Postcode Lottery. Their funding means we'll be able to work with a further 30 young people suffering from cancer or leukaemia in 2013, which is fantastic news. Players are making a huge difference to charities, like the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust, across the country."
