PA has been my home state for 15+ years. I remember as a young kid learning about the Thunderbird sightings and freaking out when an Osprey flew over the house right before a thunderstorm.

How to tell you're from Pennsylvania: you call it Pee-Ay.

I live on the Mon. Haven't heard of either river monster. There are huge snapping turtles all through the river. I watched one surface just off a fishing pier. It reminded us of an o, d style volkswagen car roof, it was that big.
Personally, there isn't enough money in the world that you could pay me to even stick my foot in that river.

I'm a pa lifer myself. My only cryptid sighting was along the Delaware river in Northampton county. I'm the laughing stock of conversations when I bring up the gigantic bird I saw with ridiculously huge tail feathers flying over the river. At least 15 in length total. I have blue herons at my house daily in the summer and I've seen enough bald eagles in recent years. This thing looked more like a kite. Worst case I saw an eagle that got tangled in some fabric or something. But I assure you I saw what I saw. It was nuts.

I'm from Philadelphia, and I've heard some of these cryptids before. Some are very new to me. I live at the Pa/Delaware border now

My wife and I were sitting on our back porch in North Philadelphia on a nice summer day. The sky was blue and had small puffy clouds. Off in the distance we saw what looked like a small private plane flying between them. well that's what we thought it was until it flapped it's wings.

Hmm? The two headed turtle could simply have been a turtle that was born with two heads, it happens in humans albeit rarely, and could’ve simply been mistaken for a monster which was further embellished by time.

Uniontown, Pennsylvania in Fayette County in Western Pennsylvania is my birthplace as my hometown but Fayette County still is a hotspot of Bigfoot, ghouls, aliens, thunderbirds, and othercryptiods near Chestnut Ridge in Western Pennsylvania.

i had a summer trailer in northeast pa. dingmans ferry to be exact..when i was 17 in 2006...i was walking a girl back to her place in the pitch black late night...and obviously being worried about bears we kept quiet and walked slow as there is no street lights and its dead quiet..when suddenly about 50 feet from us...2 giant all white cow/horse shaped things came out and crossed the street. i just couldnt make out what exactly is was..needless to say we were scared shitless because there was no farm even near that community..we ran home..still to this day i have no clue what i saw..they were huge..

Grew up in PA & moved to Erie about 12 years ago. Heard of Bessie & the Thunderbird before, but all the rest were new to me. Especially the giant turtle & fishmen!

Spent some time at lake Wallenpaupack as a kid, another manmade lake. Stories left and right of old townies who refused to leave their homes and they filled the reservoir anyway. Always imagined an old fashioned town beneath the lake inhabited by ghosts.
