Yeah I don't really have a problem with this, he is literally Shane, he jumped off a jumbo tron in the late 90s, it's now 20 years later, a retainer fee of a million is literally no big deal.

If he came back he'd still get a pop, you get paid on your value, I'm sure other high end wrestlers like Cena have a retainer contract as well to not work for any other wrestling promotion.
