Unintentional ASMR is always better than the overemphasized breathing, mouth sounds, and clicks in roleplay video versions.

Just to echo the other comments, the authenticity of this just hits different. It's almost impossible to find stuff that isn't roleplayed or staged.

That feeling when you stumble on a channel that you know is just about to blow up! Hope you become the English version of ASMR Twix with just as much success!

I don't know what it's called but when they bring the view finder machine and they start sliding the lenses around manually in their slots to see which is clearer... THOSE lenses shuffling, the sound makes me VIBRATE at the eye Drs office. Absolute bliss!

This video is great! The slit lamp exam is really a big ASMR trigger for me and this exam is one of the best examples I've yet found. Thank you!

I've been thinking recently about how 'fine' is a perfectly affable thing to say when someone gives you information in Britain, whereas in Australia (where I exist), imho it can be expressive of mediocrity or slight dissatisfaction. I remember in the Argument Clinic sketch that the receptionist says 'fine' when he asks for the 5 minute argument rather than the full half hour, and thinking that she was secretly expressing that she was disappointed he didn't book the full appointment.

Great watching this and then the eye test at Drury Porter - both fascinating to watch - thanks for doing these

I'm a retired optician so of course I totally enjoyed watching your eye exam being done. I found the optometrist very good in how she was telling you everything she was doing as well as asking you several times if you had any questions regarding your eyes or what she was doing. Considering that it had been over two years since your previous eye exam your eyesight apparently hasn't really changed much if at all since that eye exam. I heard her say your prescription is a -1.00 SPH in both eyes which is considered as being in the weak range. But even though your prescription isn't all that strong I'm sure they make a difference to you. I also watched the other video you did with another eye exam and that I was able to see the eyechart you were being asked to read the letters from and I was a bit surprised at how well you were able to see the eyechart without your glasses. I was a bit surprised that when you told that doctor about your headaches and the type of work you do that he didn't suggest that you should start wearing your glasses for work as well as when reading on your own. Especially after her tested your near vision wearing the trial frame with your prescription in it. You didn't have any problem at all reading with your prescription in front of your eyes. The one thing I would also highly suggest is going for new glasses and get the optional blue light blocking coating added to them which should help in relaxing your eyes even more. I have a feeling when you went for that eye exam two years ago was also when you first got prescribed glasses. The likely reason that you're shortsighted now is most likely due to the type of work you do and everything else you do with your eyes staring at screens all day long. Remember that not only is it your computer screen but also your phone, video games and TV all have screens damaging your eyes. Also you need to consider getting prescription sunglasses as well. I'm well aware that glasses are quite expensive even with insurance. Especially from a local optical store. So I recommend going on-line for your glasses. The girls that worked in the optical store with me, nearly all of them wore glasses, and even getting two new pairs a year from our store wasn't enough to for them so they were often ordering glasses and sunglasses on-line. Thanks to them I was able to get a really good look at the glasses they were ordering on-line. Here are the three sites I thought were the very best. Zenni Optical, Lensmart, and Payne Glasses. All three have really cute glasses for under $7.00 and that includes the lenses in whatever [prescription necessary. They have hundreds more for under $20.00. Zenni Optical for example has the blue light blocking coating which they call Blokz for $16.95 extra.
