In primary school we had similar cards with animals and our teacher had us sit around her on the floor and she'd hold up cards and at first just had us count them and later do math problems with them but as a competition or in teams against each other.
Like 2 teams and who got a right answer was allowed to go back to their table - the team that was done first won. Stuff like that.

She trained us to see 5 ladybugs and immediately be able to just know it was 5 without having to actually count.
So yeah I'm having the weirdest mix of nostalgia and flashbacks of being back in the trenches scrambling to give an immediate correct answer because I can feel the pressure of my teammates breathing down my neck when it was my turn lmao
