This is usually how it goes. In most fps games, cheating is more common on console, but the level of cheats are lower.

It's a lot more obvious when a PC player cheats. Unless you personally are dying to a strike paker on console it's way harder to tell.

As a console player who hasent played since around mid to late 2023 it is crazy how a lot of people mention strike packs but not mnk (mnk with aim assist was boarderline aimbot up close😂)

I always thought it was a severe skill issue that I can’t beam someone from 200m away with a r301 no attachments then I realized it is possible with a strike pack

As a 12x pred with a lot of that being on console, that's not the issue. People cheat by 6-manning n teaming and ddosing servers making u lose points and they get free kp. Nowadays u can't play a single match without coming across teamers.

Third party software are consider as cheating but the issue is that since its not injected directly into the game, publisher can do somehting but most of them dont really care only ubisoft did a mousetrap for this on r6 for console, even xbox or ps dosent really care at this point

Strike packs started to get really common on console around season 12/13. By Season 17, I’d say at least half the preds were using them.

At this point, EA doesn’t care, so I’m sure that it’s more than half of all console preds. If not ALL tbh.

That doesn’t make them bad players, it’s just a “why not” thing when so many people use it. Who wants to knowingly be at a disadvantage if you’re putting in that many hours to stay in the Top 750. Happy I moved to PC in 2023 though.

Worth mentioning that absolutely nothing stops you using exactly the same set up on PC that you can on console.

I’m master on playstation without using cronus zen or whatever it is people use. But I’m seriously considering buying one if all the high level players are using it, and if it won’t be dealt with by EA or Respawn. Feels pretty pointless to be compensating for recoil and practicing recoil patterns if there’s a mod that just removes that for you completely.

The problem is, once you hit a certain level, everyone is using some form of enhancement, the only way to compete is to be enhanced aswell.
