The Redskins had both Shanahan's, Sean McVay, Matt Lafleur and Mike McDaniels all at the same time... and had a 3 win season. WTF

He was up 17-7 in the 4th quarter in the NFC Championship Game against Sean McVay's Rams, and lost that as well.

49ers now are 1-30 under HC Kyle Shanahan when they trail by five or more points entering the 4th quarter. This stat is crazy.

I'll never get over Shanahan not telling his OWN TEAM about the updated OT rules. How do you screw guys over that badly?!😂

In my personal opinion, I always feel like he never wants those elite quarterbacks because sports media will give that player all the credit instead of Kyle Shanahan.

"This is the choking legacy... of Kyle Shanahan."
"Kyle Shanahan was born in Minneapolis—"🤣 That transition killed me, like we have to go all the way back to his birth to understand the origins of a future choke artist.

Choke artist is a fair label. He’s been to 4 NFCCG in 6 years. The 2 times he missed was due to Garoppolo getting hurt. He is the reason they win and the reason they lose. He’s one of the worst crunch time play callers I’ve ever seen, but even with that I think he’s the second best coach in the league.

As a rams fan we have played Kyle quite a bit and there’s one thing I have always noticed while watching these two teams. Now Sean and Kyle obviously coached together. So it’s very interesting to me how different their coaching styles are. The best way I could describe it is this. Sean treats his players like fellow warriors and you’ll see him running up to players from clear down the field to celebrate with them. It really feels like Sean is just ITCHING to get in there with his warriors. Whereas Kyle always seems unsatisfied with what his teams doing no matter how well they’re playing. It seems to me that Kyle treats his players like nothing more then his toy soldiers that he can throw into the battle whenever and wherever he pleases. This is why they constantly have so many injured players due to his admittedly aggressive play calling style. He wears his players down so much that by the time the big game comes half of them are hanging on by a thread.

No double digit second half lead in a Super Bowl is safe with Kyle. Smh

Kyle Shanahan is pretty much in the same boat that Marty Schottenheimer was in, a very good coach who will get you far but always comes up short in the playoffs and big games

49ers lowkey should of had 4 super bowls starting in 2011 and to think they had amazing coaches and amazing players and not 1 title is a damn shame. Jed York might of cursed this team.

In the last SB, Kittle had 3 targets, Aiyuk 5, and Samuel 11. WTF!

Thank you for someone FINALLY making a Video about Kyle Chokahan! This guy couldn't win the big game if you spotted him a 17-7 lead with 13:30 left in the game!

Kyle is the modern day Andy Reid and I say that with all the respect in the world. Andy in his early days didn't know how to get out of his own way.

When your dad is The Lobster and you're just the crayfish.
It's not the losing. It's the losing repeatedly in the same stupid fashion and not learning anything, with thing #1 being: maybe run the ball a little when you have a lead.

As a lifelong 49ers fan, he's definitely overrated. His clock management isn't the best and his #1 fault is he tries to get too cute. He does things that will make him look like a genius if it works, instead of just doing the common sense things. The last 2 "Big Games" he's put the ball in the QBs hands when he had dominant run games. Up by 10 in the 4th quarter vs the Chiefs with the ball. 1st down gets you 5 on a run. What do you do next? Run it, right? Nope. Play action with mid Jimmy G for an incompletion. Then put in in his hands again for another incomplete.

3rd and 2 with about 2 minutes left to go in the game. A first down will pretty much seal the game. You've got 2 downs to get a first and salt the game away with the best RB in the game. Run it, right? Nope. Pass it with Purdy for an incomplete. Mahomes got the ball back and WE ALL KNEW he'd at least tie.

Not 100% on him, but they also had KC on a 4th and 1 for the game and YOU PLAY BOTH SAFTIES HIGH??? When I saw that I knew KC was going run it, get the 1st down and score a TD.

Here's one last example. The first game of the season we were driving late against GB. A TD puts us ahead. There was a tackle where the clock was running. We had at all 3 timeouts. I was saying to let the clock run because we had all our timeouts and you don't want to give Rodgers time on the clock. Well, he ran a play with like 15 seconds on the play clock and score a TD. Great, right? Well, he left like 45 seconds or so for Rodgers. Of course he drives down the field and wins the game with a FG.

Simple stuff like that that your average fans can see, but he doesn't. Look, he's miles better at X's and O's than me. But you can't be great at details and overlook the big picture, which is what he does. He's bought into his own hype and tries to be a genius too often.

Agree, he is so arrogant despite not winning anything and riding on the coat tails of his dad

I kept telling people that Shanahan carried the 28-3 demons with him to SF and nobody believed me lol
