I was hopeful personalized would mean more control over what I see but instead just more algorithm control.

What I actually want as a viewer is manual control over the topics I see and the closest I can come to that is just using search for everything I want to see because the recommendation system has lost the plot and simply doesn't understand what I like to watch. I find it very frustrating and just end up scrolling through countless videos I'm not interested in and then leaving Youtube and doing something else.

We would love the A/B test feature expanded to more creators!

- Subscribe to the Channel,
- To a Playlist,
- To Keywords inside the channel.

All three options should be available.

Man I hope this experiment never goes mainstream. It sounds like it makes the subscriptions tab basically just another YouTube homepage, except just subscriptions, therefore burying any uploads except the ones the algorithm guesses (incorrectly or correctly) the viewer wants. This is the exact opposite direction of what needs to happen if you ever want to return value to subscriptions again. How about a “review your subscriptions” feature where viewers are encouraged to unsubscribe from channels they never watch anymore, and then show all the ones they actually want to watch fairly, prominently and chronologically. I’d rather have an honest count of interested viewers instead of an inflated subscriber count that’s meaningless.

I was excited when you said subscriptions tab in the title and then disappointed when I realised it was the subscriptions feed and not the old channel tab back :(

Don't know if it's in the experiment or not, but I would like to see a place in Subscriptions for all community posts from your subscriptions.

Can you have an option to revert to the old style of watch page please? the new style with two 'next' videos below it, and comments to the side on desktop is difficult for anyone neurodiverse to watch.

*Thank goodness it's OPTIONAL for that Subs Feed Customization. Subs need to stay in chronological order so I can watch them as such.*

Man, I'm still confused why my videos are suggested from some completely unrelated videos?! I guess we'll never know. Maybe it all makes sense.

I film car shows and I talk to many viewers in person at these events who say that they aren't being shown my videos as well as videos of other channels they sub to on the main recommended page. My viewers tend to be older folks and lately I have been telling them to keep checking the subscriptions tab since the algorithm on the recommended feed often doesn't show what viewers are actually interested in. I'd hate to see the subs tab develop the same algorithm issues as the recommended page.

I think this relevant subscriptions thing sounds fine so long as it's a TOGGLE that KEEPS THE SETTING YOU CHOOSE. I personally use the subs feed often, and I prefer to scroll through a chronological list. Switches and choice is everything. If I decide I want to use it one way, and it resets to something else when I re-launch the app, I'm gonna be mad.

Let's stop messing with the subscription feed. When I subscribe to a channel, that means I want to see their content in my sub feed. If I DON'T want to see a creator's videos, then I know how to unsubscribe. Being subscribed and not seeing the videos in the sub feed will only hurt creators by creating dead/inactive subs.

I still haven't received a response to an issue I've been complaining about for months on these videos on this channel. Aren't these supposed to be the insiders? Does not each video encourage us to voice our opinions and concerns about our experience here? The updated comment system causes my phone (Samsung Note 8 Android) to lock up the keyboard when trying to make a comment on a video. ONLY then. The keyboard works fine on all other websites and even in different areas within YouTube. But when watching a video and trying to make a new comment, the keyboard will display and lock up. I know this is a known problem because it's been discussed on some other forums.
I'm not in a position to buy a new phone right now, but I have always been very active in the YouTube community and to many of my followers and friends, it makes it look like I'm no longer active on the site. And it's true, that I'm considerably less active nowadays due to this issue. I want to love YouTube and be a super active member of the community, but YouTube itself seems to be doing everything possible to keep me from enjoying this site. Please respond. Thanks!

All I hear is another reason why even YouTube themselves know subscribing to channels is just absolutely pointless. Just get rid of the number and accept everything is algorithm based.

I would love to see a full roll-out of multi-language audio to all creators. I would like to add a Spanish language track to many of my existing videos. Can you please make this option available ASAP?
