"For all that's ever been said about climate change, we haven't heard nearly enough about the psychological impacts of living in a warming world," says science writer Britt Wray. In this quick talk, she explores how climate change is threatening our well-being -- mental, social and spiritual -- and offers a starting point for what we can do about it.

When we are living in our own little world and do not acknowledge the whole world, then we just don’t recognize that we are inseparable from our world and our universe. All of us are connected. So, in this collective mentality, we can and must reverse the damage caused by our species.

I live in good ole Texas and during the summer, our AC went out. We went without AC up until mid July and I noticed the tension in our house was insane. Everyone was temperamental and easily agitated. It made sense, it was the heat. Then, my sister and I decided to paint her room and it got so hot we were soaked and became delusional. Later we got AC because you can't go without AC for too long in Texas, and it was insane how just a change in our home climate, changed our behavior. Lesson: Take care of the AC unit because heat will make you crazy.

I love how honest she is. No false hope, just plain facts.

It's been 5 years and this video only gets more correct and shows how science increases the odds of appearing prescient in hindsight.

Before watching this video, I thought that maybe it's only me who felt that way (doubting about children's future in this harsh climate change). But this video turns out to prove me that many people actually share the same feeling :(

She said something that really hit home for me: am I someone experience climate-linked pre-traumatic stress? I didn't realize that was a thing until I looked it up. It's all the same symptoms as PTSD but before the events happen. And that's exactly what I'm experiencing

It's definitely anxiety provoking when people with the loudest voices and biggest platforms; unquestionably take every single climate alarmist prediction as absolute truth. Soley as a means to support their activism, and try to scare the general population into thinking the way they do. Without ever trying to determine "what is the truth here?".

Wow, she clearly indicates an issue that I feel insecure deep inside but I hardly convey this idea to my friends and family. Just from my personal perspective, I wish to live my life to the fullest and that's all. A family is something that I feel like I can't handle properly and it's even harder when we're living and struggling in the world of climate change.

Live car free = save 2 T
Eat a plant diet = save 1 T
One less long flight = 1.6T
5:15 Political scientist said when more women are deciding not to have children due to climate change.

Some high-schoolers don't want to apply to university as they don't see a future.

Why bring kids into this world knowing they’ll have to deal with all of these difficulties within the environment.

I'm a Bangladeshi and Dhaka is he highest populated city in the world, but we still can feel and claim we are smarter than the Americans! Because, since our childhood, we lead a life full of struggles. some of us has latest cars but majority of us loves to decrease our living expenses rather than overly fancy lifestyle, that's why we use Rickshaw instead of cars.
