Thank you for joining us as we journey through the great book of Exodus. We recorded 16 episodes, plus a finale, over two ten-day sessions, one in 2022 and one in 2023, releasing them initially on the DailyWire+ platform. After some careful deliberation, the DW+ executive team and Dr. Peterson decided to make them available to everyone on YouTube. We will therefore release one per week for 17 weeks, each Monday, and then keep them all there for a few weeks, before returning to the paywalled system (although episode 1 will remain permanently available).

The Bible is not only a patriarchal book, as many women are strong characters in its narratives. Jordan and the group discuss this in chapters three through six of Exodus, covering topics such as order and chaos, Moses’ relationship with the divine, and God’s transcendent quality.

So useful. Also, 1:42:00 Anecdote, "Not in the mood to pray ?", makes me think of the Gurney / Paul scene in Dune.

rewatching it was way better for me as i never heard the story . but unfortunately i think they took it down recently maybe a week ago.

episode 2& 3 they kept speaking of what the removal was. Whether it was the sandals or the circumcision. They never saw it as that which represented defilement.
The sandals were man made, the feet were what God made along with the ground. It was also where God was, which made it holy. Same with the circumcision, unclean to clean

A blessing….I am using this round table rich exposition to inform the the Exodus Bible Study for adults in my local Catholic Xian Parish…your commentary when coupled with the Catechism of the Church is a delightful and enlightening study guide/commentary to let Scripture “breath” in a lively fashion….thank you friends:)

Jordan Peterson's observation that going to a sporting event and experiencing elation is a form of worship is intriguing most notably because those who refrain from worshipping the divine will inevitably worship the mundane.

Re: The name "I am" is who Moses tells Pharaoh is the God who is requesting worship in the wilderness. From this we see how God hardened Pharaoh's heart. e.g.

Pharaoh: "Who is this god who requests the children of Israel go out into the wilderness to worship?"

Moses: "I am."

Pharaoh: "You are?!!!"

Moses: "No, I am." etc. etc. etc.

From this we can see the origin of Abbot and Costello's "Who's On First" skit.
