I had 10 folders with at least 5 folder in each turn in to 100 folders with 50 in each bc of a shitty download algorithm. I were about to mach the files individually but found your video. You are a lifesiver!!

I love Apple products, but sometimes they drive me crazy by not allowing us to do simple things that we can do with other systems. I can't send pics via bluetooth with iPhone and I can't merge two folders if they have identical files within it. Why doesn't it just ask if I want to replace the identical ones? I will waste a lot of time doing manually something my computer should do for me.

So does this mean that updating the content of one folder automatically updates the contents of both?  What if the folder is on a portable hard drive?

The new Mac OS X update seems to have messed this up. I'm trying to install sourcemod onto my TF2 srcds, and I only get two options while trying to merge the addons folders: stop and replace ( or something along those lines). Is there a way to forcibly merge the two folders?

"The Merge option appears only if one of the folders contains items that are not in the other folder. If the folders contain different versions of identically named files, the only options are Stop or Replace."

By far the easiest way to merge large folders on your Mac: copy all folders to a Windows PC, merge on Windows, copy back to Mac. The Mac copy is simply unsafe.
