You rarely see Jordan take more than 4 dribbles. He just gets to his spots with no energy wasted.

How important was MJ at this time? When he retired (for the first time) a few months after this, I was in 6th grade. The teacher put class on hold, and we watched his press conference. During school. More than a couple of us had tears in our eyes.

I don't care what anyone says. There's still nobody that can hold a candle to this man as far as the GOAT talk goes. He's got it locked up.

Most fluid game in basketball history. Every move has a purpose.

MJ was actually trolling the league back then. His entire career was a sort of sarcastic piece of performance art.

Another thing I love about this era of basketball: 3 point shots were rare enough for the crowd to chant when someone was launching one... can't do that now because every team shoots 40 a game.

What separates MJ from everyone else is how he fused his tremendous physical gifts with the efficiency he was taught at North Carolina by Coach Dean Smith. No wasted motion. No excess dribbling. The thing about the truly great players is, sometimes they beat you with the jab. If MJ had the fadeaway going, you got that all night. No need to play around with anything else. He was so great because he distilled the game down to simple terms...take high quality shots, play at 100%, and limit mistakes. No one has done it better.

41 ppg
8.5 rpg
6.3 apg

All in the NBA finals against the #1 team and the season MVP.

I was going for the Suns this year and I remember how unstoppable MJ was so I left the room upset. I realized then Jordan was not only the best basketball player ever, he's the greatest athlete in modem history.

When you watch games like this you can understand why MJ retired months later. He abused Majerle this whole series. Look how easily he scores on the entire Suns defense. Jump shots and trotting to the basket. I think this by far was his easiest championship, I mean the guy averaged 40+. You really can’t blame MJ for getting bored with the NBA. The 🐐

Absolutely amazing. He was the best. The brighter the lights got, the more he elevated his game. 6 finals. 6 titles. 6 finals MVPs.

What I like most about this era is they didn't look for contact because they expected it....so put your head down drive to the basket and finish rid of that hand check rule and let the players play again....#GrownManBall

Notice the IQ by Jordan throughout this game. He adjusted his approach depending on who guarded him. With Majerle, he just took him off the dribble over and over again. When KJ switched on him, he went to his midrange game and shot over him because he had the height advantage. Cold-blooded assassin.

How could Jordan score so effortlessly? He is just on another level.

MJ at his prime made it looks so easy and smooth. He never wasted any energy. He was so good to read the defenders.

got to the rim at will. you can't double team him he will split the D and find open man. you can't single cover him or he will bury you. there's nothing you can do. you just hope he has a bad game.

In my opinion the 93’ season was MJ’s absolute prime. The perfect middle point between the super athletic Jordan and the Jordan who was able to use his skills and footwork to dominate you. Truly unstoppable

Michael's 1st step & his ability to stop on a dime was 1 of the strongest combos in his game. He had no business being that agile in handling @ his height! Insane! I miss MJ G.O.A.T.
