Tough to do but I had to stay true to myself. The in-fighting, excessive lack of family contact and unprofessional behaviour convinced me it was a prize I no longer wanted to win. "We're just starting a task, it's not the ideal moment." Wrong. It's better that she did it then than being assigned work and then halfway through saying that she was going to leave. That would leave the team exposed with someone having to fill the gap while continuing with their own work.

There’s no need for comments like, “she obviously wasn’t strong enough blah blah, ” because it’s a strength in itself to accept that your life and state of mind is more important than an investment.

Apart from her, they are self entitled, arrogant, back stabbers and that fake sympathy to her was pathetic, she made the right choice to go and remove herself from the environment, takes a lot of self belief knowing you will be fine and in doing so will loose this huge potential opportunity, but for the sake of sanity you put that to the side. People like this need to be admired because they have great belief in themselves and so much so in fact they can be comfortable leaving and doing a different thing.

She has displayed strength and integrity. Some battles for some people are simply not worth fighting. When the battle has lost all meaning, then you can't go on.

I reckon that takes more guts then going into the boardroom and getting a bollocking from Lord Sugar. Respect to her, that is absolutely right that she decides to leave because if she doesn't think she could handle it during a task it makes it tough as being human to sail through and continue and then she could put her health at risk. 👏👏
