That black jersey with the white "C" is striking! I have waited for Calgary to do that for quite a while. It looks even better than I imagined, especially when Shannon holds it up to the camera. If you took away that pedestal in the front, Calgary would have one of the best alternate jerseys in the NHL. Man, that is a nice one!

I love Calgary branding, even as an Oilers fan. My favorite Flames jersey is actually the latest reverse retro. I also like their wordmark one too. I'm not a big fan of the main design before their return to the classic look though. I do really like the Calgary Wrangler unifomrs, and I love the shoulder logos on those things, I would love to see it used as a primary.

The 2011 Heritage jersey really is a rare find these days. I thought I finally got lucky buying one off of eBay but it turned out to be a fake despite the photo the seller had used looking identical to the real ones. Was pretty miffed about getting ripped off so hopefully a legit one will pop up again soon in my size

I’ve been waiting for this one. My current flames collection is at 5, with all 4 adidas ones they wore last season and an ‘04 home for nostalgia purposes. Really hoping to get the remaining adidas ones before fanatics takes over, I love the fit of those ones. Had the 2011 heritage classic one as a kid but an adult small is also on my list

Happy the Flames went back to their original look again I think they have one of the best home and away set in the NHL but their away jersey I think it's one of the best away jerseys in the NHL

I hope the Flames keep their current uni's for a long time. They just look perfect for that franchise. Would be cool too see them have a black version for the current look.

I'm from Iowa and you should come! Heartlanders games are getting better and better, the jerseys are pretty solid, especially the prarie rose alternate. Haven't been to many iowa wild games, but the roster is shaping up nice. Hope it's not the iowa culture scaring you off, des moines and iowa city are the best parts, so come visit! Iowa needs as much hockey support as possible, would love to see it grow in the area and you can help! No pressure though ;)

I always thought that the Flames should wear those Heritage Classic Ronald McDonald jerseys against the Kings in their Burger King jerseys.

I didn't really like the Wranglers logo until I saw the similarity with the Atlanta logo. Now I like it. Flames and Oilers went back to their classic looks, so all is right in the Alberta hockey world.

The reason why many Flames fans hate most of the jerseys is because you can't beat the original! It's the nicest jersey in the NHL, for sure!

Speaking as a Flames fan, I think the Flames are like their expansion siblings, the Islanders, in that every time they've gone away from their traditional, original look it's been a disaster. The "podium" jersey is an atrocity. The worst hockey jersey ever. The word mark one was kind of OK, but looked too much like the Devils. When they added black I thought it was stupid. "Yeah, now they're black, red and yellow, just like the Canucks" was my thought. Some idea stealing the colors of the team that's supposed to be your rival. I also remember first seeing their "C" logo when they moved from Atlanta and thinking that it must have been designed by a kindergarten kid, it was so bland and obvious. But it's grown on me. One of the 4 jerseys in my huge hockey collection is a 1989 #7 Joey Mullen road (dark).
