i've always wondered how it was made because the icecream inside isn't melted. after watching this video. i still have no idea how the icecream isn't melted.

I have one of these everytime I go to a Chinese restaurant but I'm in Australia they are quite common and have been around forever

We have this in my little town in Australia. It's been here for 30 years in our Chinese restaurant. It really isn't new.

people in of the comments section, fried ice cream is actually good. If it's made right it shouldn't be melted and should be crispy on the outside. Kind of like eating a ice cream cone, but a softer and fried. Also it doesn't melt bc the ice cream is really cold and its fried really quickly. A lot of asian places sell this.The end.
